May 2026: UCBPA is happy to report that the inaugural Eli Singer Memorial Scholarships, granted through the New Haven Schools Foundation, were awarded this month. These went to two graduates of James Logan High School in Union City CA who managed to enjoy time at the Bike & Skate Park in Union City CA while working toward their future: Landon Pham and Alfredo Amezcua Ayala.
The application period for next year's scholarship(s) will open in late 2026 - keep an eye out! The pdf for the 2026 scholarship program will remain below for reference. In the meantime, enjoy school, life, and the bike&skate park! Questions? contact rsinger@unioncitybikeparkadvocates.org

Landon teaches children how to swim, is an elementary school volunteer, and operates a car detailing business. During his free time, Landon loves to go mountain biking all over the Bay Area, and is excited at the prospect of an all-wheels bike park in Union City. He is fascinated by science and has a strong passion to create a difference for his generation and those who come after him.

Alfredo enjoys computers, so much so that he built up his own PC. He looks forward to studying hardware engineering as he moves on from Logan HS. He volunteers at his church and enjoys the vibe at the Union City Skate & Bike Park.

Your contribution will go directly to helping a deserving student's education continue. Thanks!
